Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Brian H. Nelson, General Counsel and Senior Vice President, heads Campus Management’s legal affairs and plays a key role in the company’s strategic initiatives for expansion of its solutions portfolio and global presence. He has extensive experience with corporate, intellectual property and technology transactions for public, private middle market and early stage companies. Mr. Nelson advises on a full range of issues, including acquisitions and commercialization of proprietary products and services.
Mr. Nelson also has experience with diverse industries, including software, hardware, telecom, entertainment, e-commerce, banking, manufacturing, aviation, travel, healthcare and pharmaceuticals. He is committed to the continued growth of the Florida business community, including serving as the former Chairman, President and founder of the South Florida Technology Alliance (SFTA); former member of the Board of Advisors of Florida International University’s Global Entrepreneurship Center; General Counsel and board member of AdoptAClassroom; advisor to the Honey Shine Foundation; and venture partner to a Florida fund. Prior to joining Campus Management, Mr. Nelson was in private practice and a member of an AMLaw 100 law firm.
Mr. Nelson holds a JD from University of Miami School of Law and a BA with Honors from University of Maryland, College Park.
