Grameen Foundation selects Campus Management Solution for Fundraising
Donor2 Software helps drive strategic decision-making
and efficiency

(Boca Raton, FL - December 11, 2006) Campus Management Corporation, a leading provider of administrative software for higher education and non-profit organizations, today announced that Grameen Foundation has selected Donor2 fundraising software. Grameen Foundation was established by a group of friends who were inspired by the work of Grameen Bank and founding board member, 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, who innovated the concept of microfinance, which helps people in poverty access loans to start and grow small businesses. The foundation’s president Alex Counts began his career in microfinance by working and training under Dr.Yunus in Bangladesh.

Critical to Grameen Foundation’s decision were features in the Donor2™ product that enable in-depth analysis of fundraising campaign efforts and donors’ profiles. The award-winning Donor2 product automates the flow of work and information for fundraisers and integrates with Microsoft® Dynamics GP and Microsoft Outlook.

Grameen Foundation, which has earned support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, will use Donor2 to speed the processing of gifts and help staff to manage gifts and relationships with donors more cost-effectively. The fundraising software product features a built-in dashboard for fundraisers to quickly visualize progress towards goals, upcoming deadlines and key milestones towards successful campaigns.

“After conducting a thorough assessment of the fundraising solutions available for supporting our growth and multiyear fundraising strategy, we decided Donor2 was the right choice for us,” said Nancy Nelson, Vice President for Development at the Grameen Foundation. “We look forward to using Donor2’s functionality to drive our development processes which have increased markedly since it was announced that the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize would go to Dr. Yunus and the Grameen Bank.”
