Campus Management Corporation Ranked First in Student Information Systems
Results of Independent Study by IMS Global Learning Consortium
(Boca Raton, FL - March 20,
2007) – Campus Management Corporation today announced that its Student Information System was ranked by users as the top-rated student information system in higher education, according to an independent survey by IMS Global Learning Consortium (IMS GLC). The results appeared in IMS GLC’s February publication of its study, “Learning Technology Satisfaction and Trends North American Higher Education,”.
“The IMS GLC survey respondents are individuals responsible for leading and supporting online learning and learning technology in all its myriad forms,” comments Rob Abel, CEO of IMS GLC. “The student systems satisfaction ratings were viewed from the perspective of teaching and learning, which is becoming an increasingly important driver for new investment in technology to support the academic enterprise.”
“This is a time of year when software vendors commonly announce awards they have received from various industry panels, but nothing compares to what the institutions choose to say for themselves,” stated Brent Ramdin, Director of Solutions Management for Campus Management.
According to IMS GLC, its report and underlying research are conducted to help inform a new and rapidly evolving marketplace in the use of technology to support teaching and learning. IMS Global Learning Consortium performs this research independently of its sponsors, and Campus Management was not a member or sponsor in the period during which the study was made. IMS GLC is the world’s largest and oldest standards consortium focused exclusively on learning standards since 1996. This report represents responses from approximately 200 qualified individuals over the previous 12 months.
