New Horizons South Florida Improves Student Success Tracking after Accelerated Implementation of CampusNexus Student and CampusNet Cloud

Student Completion Rates Near 90 Percent Post-Implementation

Boca Raton, FL — July 27, 2016 — Campus Management Corp., a leading provider of enterprise solutions and services for higher education, announced today that New Horizons South Florida, a franchise of New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, the world's largest independent IT training company, has achieved new milestones for student success and accountability less than a year after an accelerated, eight-week implementation of CampusNexus® Student in a hosted environment through CampusNet Cloud.

In 2015, New Horizons South Florida chose to migrate to a new and separate student information system to scale the business across its three locations (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach) and to better measure, manage, and report on student success. Prior to deploying CampusNexus Student, New Horizons South Florida had utilized a platform that made tracking student progress, completion and placement a manually intensive process.

“Career students who attend New Horizons South Florida are mostly adults going through a transition, including returning veterans and displaced workers. These individuals require new training and are looking for an accelerated path to entering the IT field or going to the next level,” said Arnie Girnun, President of New Horizons South Florida. “With programs that can be completed in fewer than six months and courses starting every eight weeks, the transition from the former platform to CampusNexus Student had to be accomplished within eight weeks, which is a very aggressive schedule for IT projects of this scale.”

Less than a year later, we are seeing improvements in our completion, certifications, and placement rates across the board, with completion rates for our CareerSource students running close to 90 percent.”
